This 5 Day course will introduce you to ideas about how to move more naturally around our modern environments and coach you through some daily movements to use as inspiration, helping you to start embracing a movement-rich life and giving you tools and inspiring ideas for you to move well for life, you way.

Course Theme
This course is intended to serve as an introduction to adding different ways of moving naturally into daily life.
My aim is to inspire you to make different movement choices each day, by providing you with some practical movement tools and ideas throughout the week, along with explanations and information in the accompanying daily audios.
Armed with your learnings, the course will help you start to make long-term changes that will benefit your body as you age.

Ability level
The movements covered in this course will be gentle and ‘beginner’ level. However, as we all have different starting points, I aim to provide regressions and progressions. Learning to adapt movements to your current movement capability is a valuable skill, allowing you to meet your body as it is today, with kindness.
If you have severe mobility issues this course may not be suitable for you. In that case, please get in touch to discuss suitability.

Structure
The course is delivered in 5 daily modules designed to be carried out in order.

Moving at different heights
Being mobile & strong to age well
Every movement counts
Each module includes each of the following…
Short audio (8-15 minutes) - designed to be listened to ‘on the go’ whilst out walking, doing chores or commuting, the audios to introduce the topic for the day’s module and provide important background to the coaching session. Topics cover different movement pillars essential for a movement-rich life and offer ideas on how to incorporate them into your daily routine.
Coaching session - (up to 30 minutes) These sessions ntroduce to techniques and skills and provide you with ideas for wide variety of natural movement. Any necessary equipment (household items) will be mentioned at the start of each video.
Optional daily homework pdf - These extra materials include self coaching questions, daily movement challenges and a summary of the key takeaways of the day’s module.
BONUS - Group Q&A - Available Live or as a recording.

Course FAQs
How much space do I need?
About 6ft square on a comfortable surface like carpet, a rug, grass or mats
Is there any specific equipment I will need?
You will only need household equipment, such as blankets or cushions for ground movement if you need to bolster your body to be there comfortably, a chair (not on wheels) and a tennis or other small ball. Any specific equipment needs will be described at the start of each live video.
Do I have to wear ‘exercise’ clothing?
You can wear anything that you feel comfortable to move well and breathe well in (nothing tight around the middle of the body is always best) and particularly in the area of the hips.
